Gaining is Good

My downstairs carpet absolutely sucks and I just want to get rid of it!!  In fact I’m tempted to pull it up and live with carpet-glue floors. I just…want to lose…that carpet! That’s one of my goals for 2016.

What are your goals this year? Lose weight, get out of debt, clean out the closets?

There’s a theme in our resolutions…do you hear it? 

Lose weight, Lose debt, Lose clutter, Lose that carpet,  Lose Lose Lose…loser. Is there a self-esteem issue here?

It’s no wonder under 10% of the people who make New Year’s Resolutions actually achieve them.* From the first day, we’ve tagged ourselves as losers!

Maybe a better perspective is what can you gain? Gain a new body image, Gain financial freedom, Gain clean living space, Gain new carpet (please oh please oh please!!)
